Voon King Howe is a visionary architect with over 20 years of experience in architecture and design across Malaysia, Singapore, and Australia. Known for his dynamic leadership and deep design expertise, Voon has built a reputation for delivering thoughtful, sustainable, and impactful architectural projects across various scales and sectors.

After earning his Bachelor of Architecture (Honours) from The University of Melbourne in 2002, Voon became a registered Professional Architect (A/V 8), ASEAN Architect, and Interior Designer (ID/V 3) with the Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM). His design approach is marked by strong conceptual clarity, technical precision, and a keen understanding of contextual needs.

In 2009, Voon established Architects Avenue Sdn. Bhd., his first incorporated company and a cornerstone of his professional legacy. As Principal, he has led the firm to become a respected name in architectural consultancy, known for its creativity, precision, and multidisciplinary thinking. The firm has delivered a wide range of projects from master planning and institutional buildings to residential and commercial developments—across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia and China. Under his leadership, the firm continues to push boundaries through innovation and contemporary design thinking, leveraging new materials, technologies, and sustainable practices.

In 2019, Voon achieved international recognition by winning First Prize in the Resilient Homes Design Challenge, an international design competition organized by The World Bank. His winning entry—a resilient, affordable housing solution for vulnerable communities—was presented at both the World Bank Headquarters in Washington, D.C., and the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva, placing him on the global stage as a socially conscious design leader.

A respected voice in the profession, Voon serves as an examination panel member for the Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM). He is a Corporate Member of Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia (PAM), the Association of Consulting Architects Malaysia (ACA:M), a Professional Member of the Malaysia Green Building Confederation (MGBC), and a Registered ASEAN Architect. He also serves as Vice President of the Malaysia Shanxi Chamber of Commerce and Deputy
Treasurer of the Malaysia Woon Clan Association, reflecting his active engagement in cultural and community leadership.
