APUNG HOUSE: A RESILIENT HOMES DESIGN
RESILIENT HOME DESIGN CHALLENGE
This modular house is designed on a floatable platform, which lifts the house to a maximum of 3-meters as the water rises during flood and monsoon. With a construction time of just two weeks, it enables fast post-disaster reconstruction. The design suggests providing the local community with an app that allows customization of the design based on needs before placing order.
